  7. The MOD to WWIV is free, but the .EXE files below are 'beg-ware'. If you find
  8. that they work to your satisfaction, please keep in mind that we do have to
  9. keep ourselves in Pepsi and Safeway Microwave Popcorn, so if you care to
  10. give a little, and be able to receive direct e-mail announcements of updates
  11. in the future <and we *DO* plan on supporting this until we get it right. :) >

  16. This program may be distributed as long as this file and the following files
  17. remain intact and the zip file name remains WWIV4INT.ZIP - All programs are
  18. copyright 1993, by Split Infinity Programming. The source code for the .EXE
  19. files below is not public domain. Anything that happens to your computer or
  20. your BBS while you use this MOD or the .EXE's include is not our fault. By
  21. installing this MOD on your BBS you are automatically agreeing that you are
  22. running this of your own free will and you are placing the liability of using
  23. this program upon yourself and not the authors. Put very simply, its your
  24. problem if something goes wrong.

  28. BLED.EXE   - Blue's Editor < simple online editor needed for Internet e-mail.
  29.                            < this editor is called if you don't have WWIVedit
  30.                            < If you have WWIVedit, this editor is called for
  31.                            < users without ANSI
  32. RM.EXE      - Read Mail    < Reads Waffle 1.65 mailbox and handles replies
  33.                            < while user is online.
  34. RN.EXE      - Read News    < Reads Waffle 1.65 Newsgroup dir structures
  35.                            < Lets users create newsgroup scans, and also
  36.                            < automatically creates a list of your groups
  37. CVTMAIL.EXE - Convert Mail < Converts outgoing Internet E-mail into Internet
  38.                            < mail format, program batch processes when you call
  39.                            < Waffle's UUCICO.
  40. CVTNEWS.EXE - Convert Mail < Converts outgoing USENET posts into USENET newsgroup
  41.                            < articles, program batch processes when you call
  42.                            < Waffle's UUCICO.
  43. MAKEDIRS.EXE - Makes User Directories for keeping User's Internet E-mail and
  44.                newsgroup scans. Makedirs.CPP is included as well if you
  45.                need to modify it.
  46. INTERNET.MOD - WWIV 4.22 source MOD which is necessary for all the above
  47.                programs to work. Waffle configuration information also.

  51. WAFFLE 1.65  - Contains the necessary programs for this MOD and EXE files
  52.                to work correctly. This is a BBS by Darkside International
  53.                and is no way connected with Split Infinity Programming or
  54.                WWIV. You should register your copy of Waffle, for without
  55.                Waffle, none of this works. Registering your copy enables
  56.                future releases of Waffle can occur with improvements to an
  57.                already wonderful package.

  67.                              tested for a month now, bugs found and fixed.

  71. 7-05-93  WWIV4Internet News: Newsgroup support added in addition to email.
  72.                              Users are very pleased with this latest addition.
  73.                              Change to OUTBOX pathing as well, since RNEWS
  74.                              wasn't being nice.

  76. 6-21-93  WWIV4Internet Mail: first release. Beta beta beta copy. Added change
  77.                              to CVTMAIL to allow OUTBOX pathing.

  79. 6-1-93   WWIV4Internet Mail: A "I'm almost a beta" running under Desqview386
  80.                              and DOS6 for a few days to test a few things.
  81.                              This version changed so much that we changed it
  82.                              almost hourly and our BBS users did not know the
  83.                              difference. This was our test under OS/2 2.1 GA
  84.                              as well.
